Woman, 40s, dies following house fire Meath

A woman in her 40s has died in a house fire in Co Meath.

The blaze is believed to have broken out at around 6pm in Navan.

The fire service put out the fire and found the remains of the woman in the house.

Her body has been taken to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan.

Gardaí said that investigations are ongoing.
