Woman, 21, drowns in Limerick river

A 21-year-old woman has drowned in a river in Co Limerick.

The woman was swimming in the River Feale near Abbeyfeale late last night, when she got into difficulty.

She was pulled from the water, but pronounced dead at the scene around 1.20am this morning.
