Wexford town launches suicide watch

An organisation called Wexford Marine Watch has launched "Safety Prevention Patrols" to prevent suicides around Wexford Bridge.

It is staffed completely by volunteers who stage an intervention and liaise with the local emergency services.

It was started in January in response to the rising suicide levels in the area.
