Waterford Gardaí launch investigation after body find

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man's body in Waterford City this evening.

The body of the man, who was in his twenties, was found at around 6pm in a disused building on New Street.

The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination, and the State Pathologist has been notified.

Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 051-305-300.
