WATCH: Water protestors brand President Higgins 'little midget parasite'

A video has emerged of water protestors heckling President Michael D Higgins as he left a school in Finglas on Friday.

The protesters, who were rallying against his signing into law the Water Services Bill in December, swarmed around a car carrying the President as it was leaving the grounds of Coláiste Eoin.

They can be heard in the footage, which is NSFW, calling President Higgins a "little midget parasite", "traitor" and a "little sell-out parasite".

The 'Dublin Says No' group, who posted the clip, claimed that: "The Gardaí display their lack of training and professionalism. They just aren't meant to deal with the public."

The group claim that two minutes into the video a Garda can be seen "launch something at the crowd gathered at a garden wall".
