WATCH: Drone footage of Garda Tony Golden's funeral shows massive Guard of Honour

The full extent of the Guard of Honour at Tony Golden’s funeral has been unveiled in this short clip of drone footage taken on the day.

The footage, which lasts for over a minute, shows the long line out of gardaí who came to Louth to mourn the loss of one of their colleagues.

The sheer magnitude of the gathering brings home the great loss that is being felt by Mr Golden’s family, friends and colleaques.

The footage was taken by local photographer Niall Carroll.

President Michael D Higgins and Taoiseach Enda Kenny also joined the thousands of mourners and gardaí in Blackrock, Co Louth for the State funeral of Garda Tony Golden.
