Warm weather set to last all week

Met Éireann is forecasting a lot of warm and dry weather for the rest of this week.

Today will see sunshine in eastern and central areas, with top temperatures of 15-19°C .

Tonight, temperatures are set to not drop below 7°C .

Tomorrow will see a dry and bright day generally, with some hazy sunshine developing, the best of which will be in the midlands and east.

The country should enjoy top temperatures of 18-21°C .

The dry and sunny weather is set to spread to all parts of the country by Thursday, with Friday being billed as the warmest day of the week, with afternoon temperatures there reaching the low to mid 20s in western and central parts.

Into the weekend, the dry and sunny weather is likely to continue, with temperatures in the mid to high teens.
