Viable bomb made safe in Dublin

A viable bomb has been made safe in Dublin.

Gardaí and the Defence Forces Bomb Disposal Team carried out an operation to remove the device from Darndale last night.

The device was taken to a secure military installation for further examination.

Garda are investigating the incident.
