Update: Gardaí find Uldis Mikelsons safe and well

Update - July 18, 10.55am: Gardaí have found Uldis Mikelsons safe and well.

Earlier: A man has gone missing from his home in Co. Cavan.

Uldis Mikelsons, who is missing from Swellan Lower, was last seen on the morning of Friday, July 8 leaving his home in Cavan.

He is five feet 11 inches tall and has a medium build, brown hair and green eyes.

When last seen Uldis was wearing brown trousers, grey jumper and black shoes.

He was also carrying a blue coloured back pack.
