Two released without charge in Monaghan dissident investigation

Two men, being held in connection with dissident republican activity in Monaghan, have been released without charge.

The pair, aged 25 and 50, were detained on Saturday after Gardaí stopped and searched a van in Monaghan town and found components for bomb making.

They were released at around 10pm last night and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
