Two questioned over Limerick cannabis seizure

Gardaí are questioning two men in connection with a drug seizure in Limerick.

Cannabis with an estimated street value of €30,000 was discovered by drug squad officers, after they stopped a car on the N7 at around 8.30pm last night.

The two men, in their 30s, were arrested at the scene.

They are being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act and can be held for up to seven days without charge.
