Two men still in custody in connection with Dublin heroin seizure

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question two men following a significant heroin seizure on Monday.

Around €900,000 worth of the drug was discovered along with a smaller quantity of cocaine during an operation in the north of the city.

Two men in their 30s were arrested and five cars were also seized at an underground car park in the Santry area.

Reports this morning say gardaí believe the vehicles were being used to transport the heroin to street dealers.
