Two men due in court after shot fired at Gardaí in Kildare

Two men are due in court this morning after a shot was fired at Gardaí in Kildare earlier this week.

It happened in the Ashgrove area of Monasterevin on Monday night.

The men are due before Portlaoise District Court this morning.

A third man arrested in connection with the incident has since been released without charge.
