Two men die in Meath house fire

Two men have died after a house fire in Co Meath.

It happened in the Blackthorn Close area of Kells shortly after 3am this morning.

Two men in their 40s and 50s were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other - a man and a woman - escaped the house uninjured.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

The scene is being preserved for a technical examination.
