Two men arrested after recovery of stolen whiskey

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested two men in their early 20s following the recovery of about €250,000 worth of stolen whiskey this morning.

They were detained following a search of an industrial premises in Cookestown in Tallaght shortly after 10am.

Gardaí say the whiskey had been recently stolen in the Dublin region.

The two men are being questioned at Tallaght garda station.
