Two Irish writers in Booker running

Two Irish writers have been long-listed for the 2010 Man Booker Prize.

Emma Donoghue and Paul Murray were nominated for their respective novels "Room" and "Skippy Dies".

The Arts Council has extended its warmest congratulations to the pair.
