Two injured in Westmeath traffic accident

Two men have been injured in a road accident in Co Westmeath today.

Their car crashed on the main Dublin to Sligo road at Ballinalack at 4.20am this morning.

The men have been taken to Mullingar General Hospital.

The road is closed in both directions and diversions are in place at Edgeworthstown and also on the Mullingar side of Ballinalack.
