Two people remain in Garda custody this morning following a major drug seizure.

€300,000 worth of cannabis herb was discovered at two locations yesterday.

Gardaí stopped and searched a car at Kilcock in Kildare and found a large quantity of the drug. The occupant of the car, a man in his 40s, was arrested at the scene.

During a follow-up search, a further quantity of cannabis herb was discovered at a house in the north inner city area of Dublin where a woman in her 40s was arrested.
