Two Dublin men jailed after €120k cocaine seizure

Two men from Blanchardstown in Dublin have been jailed after being caught with over €120,000 worth of cocaine.

Brian Rigney of Fortlawn Avenue and John Halpin of Whitestown Avenue were moving the drugs when Gardaí carried out a raid on December 9th 2011.

Officers found Halpin standing on a ladder shining a light into the attic of a house at Fortlawn Avenue where Rigney was hiding the drugs.

34-year-old Rigney has been jailed for four and a half years, while 33-year-old Halpin has been sentenced to two and a half years.
