Two dead in fatal Kerry collision

Two men have died following a collision in County Kerry overnight.

The single car crash happened on the N22 just outside Glenflesk Village on the Killarney side in the early hours of this morning.

The two men -both in their early 20’s -were fatally injured when their car hit a ditch. The incident was only discovered at midday today by a passing motorist as the car was concealed.

The bodies of both men have been removed to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee for post mortem examinations.

The road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda forensic examination and local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Killarney Garda Station
