Two arrested, suspect devices seized in Kildare house search

Two men have been arrested and it is understood a number of suspect devices seized, during the planned search of a house in Co Kildare.

The operation took place at a home in Rosconnell, Newbridge at 9 o'clock last night.

The Army Bomb Disposal Team attended the scene.

A garda spokesperson said they were awaiting confirmation on the number and form of the devices seized.

The men are being detained at Naas and Newbridge garda stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
