Two arrested over criminal activity in Offaly

Gardaí investigating criminal activity in Co Offaly have arrested two people.

The man and woman were detained after a number of houses in Tullamore and Clara were searched.

Around 20 people were involved in this morning's operation.

The man and woman are both in their early 20s.

They are being questioned at Tullamore Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.

They can be detained for up to seven days.
