Two arrested following Sligo body discovery

Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Sligo.

The body of Martin Kivlehan, a well-known local musician, was found with stab wounds at his apartment on Holborn Street at around lunchtime yesterday.

A man in his late 20s and a woman in her mid 20s have been arrested, and are being questioned at Sligo Garda Station.

A post mortem examination will be carried out this morning on the body of a man found dead in Sligo yesterday

It is understood the victim was discovered by a man who was visiting his apartment.
