Two arrested following €400k drugs haul

Two people have been arrested following a massive drugs haul worth €400,000 in the Midlands and Dublin yesterday.

A 35-year-old man was arrested after Gardaí discovered €300,000 worth of heroin during the search of a car in Crumlin.

The man is being held at Crumlin Garda Station.

During a follow up search yesterday evening, heroin with an estimated value of €100,000 was seized at a house in the Killucan area of Co. Westmeath.

A 26-year-old female was arrested and is being held at Mullingar Garda Station.

The investigation is ongoing.
