Tipperary Gardaí seize €640k of cannabis

An estimated €640,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in Co. Tipperary.

Gardaí from the National Drugs Unit carried out a search at a premises at Moanfin, Nenagh yesterday.

During the search around 800 cannabis plants were discovered.

A man in his 30s has been arrested.

He is currently being detained at Templemore Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
