Tipperary crash kills elderly man

A man in his 60s has been killed in a crash in North Tipperary.

The single-vehicle collision on the road between New Line and Mary Willies, on the main Roscrea to Templemore road at about 7pm yesterday evening.

The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.

Gardaí in Templemore are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
