Three hospitalised after kayakers get into difficulty

Three people have been taken to hospital after they got into difficulty while kayaking in Co Wicklow yesterday.

The Dublin Coastguard Helicopter and members of the Wicklow Mountain Rescue team were called to assist after its understood a group of at least seven kayakers got into difficulty on Lough Dan.

Three kayakers were taken to Tallaght Hospital in Dublin for treatment.

Their condition is not yet known.
