Tempelogue abduction: Man and woman arrested

Gardaí investigating the abduction of a bank official's wife from Terenure and theft of €300,000 from the AIB in Clondalkin on September 2 have arrested a man and a woman.

The two, who are both in their 20s, were arrested in the Navan area, in Co Meath.

The abducted woman was taken from her home in Domville Drive, Templeogue, Dublin in a black Volkswagen Golf in the early hours of September 2. She was released some hours later, unharmed, in Enniskerry in Co Wicklow.

One man has already appeared in court charged in connection with the robbery.
