Teenager killed in Roscommon collision

A teenager has been killed in a road accident in Roscommon.

The 17-year-old was a passenger in a car which veered off road and crashed into a ditch.

The accident happened at about 1.20am today on the Frenchpark to Boyle Road road, gardaí said.

Four others, all in their teens, suffered minor injuries.
