Taoiseach to discuss economic cooperation with British PM

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is to meet the British Prime Minister in London today, to discuss future relations between the two countries.

Mr Kenny and David Cameron last met in January, when they decided that the time was right for a strengthening of bilateral relations.

Today's statement from the two leaders is expected to set out plans for that engagement over the next ten years, in a range of areas that will increase economic cooperation, trade and investment between the two countries.

Today's visit will see the Taoiseach attend the annual CHAMP St Patrick's Day event at the Houses of Parliament this afternoon.
