The Taoiseach says the Government "can't break the law" to give Ryanair the hangar it wants at Dublin Airport.
Brian Cowen told the Dáil the airline can have hangars 3 and 4 or one can be built for them.
In the Dáil the Fine Gael leader called on Mr Cowen to personally intervene in the dispute to ensure the 300 jobs promised by Ryanair are secured.
"If you are supposed to be in charge, then get out of your eat.. And prove it!" before encouraging him to personally intervene.
Mr Cowen responded: "You might think as Taoiseach you can walk into office and breach contracts, but you can't…You can't do it."
