Swimming advisory at Portmarnock beach lifted

An advisory against swimming in Portmarnock in north Co Dublin has been lifted.

There had been concerns over the quality of water at Velvet Strand this week after heavy rain.

Pregnant women and people with low immune systems had been advised to stay out of it.
