Submachine gun and cocaine seized in Dublin raid

Drugs and firearms have been seized in Dublin.

The discovery was made during the search of an apartment in the Castleknock area, by Gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau including the Serious Crime Task Force.

A submachine gun and ammunition were found with a significant quantity of cocaine.

Drug paraphernalia and mixing agents were also recovered during the search operation.

A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the investigation.

He's being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station, where he can be questioned for up to 3 days.
