Spain's air traffic controllers announce four days of strikes in peak holiday season
A view of Malaga

Four days of strikes have been announced by Spanish air traffic controllers, potentially affecting thousands of Irish holidaymakers.

The workers will walk out on June 8, 10, 12 and 14 for two hours in the morning and a further two in the afternoon.

They are disputing penalties given by the country's airport operator for a strike in 2010.
