Shot fired through window of house in Meath

Gardaí are investigating an incident in which at least one shot was fired through the window of a house in County Meath.

It happened in the Arch Deaconary area of Kells at around 1pm.

Nobody was injured in the shooting and up to two men are believed to have escaped on foot.

The scene has been sealed off and has been technicaly examined.

It is not known if the house was occupied at the time and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
