Seal Sanctuary concerned as seal decapitated, among other deaths

The Irish Seal Sanctuary has said it is concerned over a cluster of seal deaths reported in counties Wexford and Waterford over the past few days.

Six were found dead near Fethard-on-Sea, one in Tramore and one near Dunmore East.

The Seal Sactuary said the seal found at Tramore is reported to have been decapitated.

Seals are protected under national and European law.
