Risk of freezing fog tonight as motorists warned to take extra care

Emergency services are advising motorists to be extra cautious on the roads tonight.

Met Eireann have issued an Orange Warning for fog, which will be thick in places, across the country.

There is also a risk of some pockets of freezing fog.

Temperatures could drop as low as minus three degrees in places this evening.

The weather warning will remain in place until 9am tomorrow morning.
