Revenue seizes cocaine hidden in make-up bottles at Dublin Airport

Revenue officers have seized cocaine worth €140,000 at Dublin airport.

Officers seized the 2kgs of cocaine yesterday after stopping and searching a Brazilian man returning home to Dublin from Barcelona.

The drugs were hidden in three cosmetic bottles in the man's checked-in baggage.

The 25-year-old was brought before the Criminal Courts this morning - where he was remanded in custody until January 14.
