Revenue seize €44,000 and 46,000 contraband cigarettes at Dublin Airport

Cash and cigarettes have been seized at Dublin Airport.

Officers detained €14,000 in cash on Saturday when they stopped a British woman in her twenties who was travelling to Eindhoven.

While on Sunday €30,000 in cash was found in the luggage of a Polish woman in her twenties who was travelling to Barcelona.

46,000 contraband cigarettes were also found in the luggage of four Romanian nationals who had arrived in Dublin on a flight from Istanbul.
