Research supports affect of acne on teens' mental health

Teenage girls with severe acne are twice as likely to think about committing suicide compared to those with clear skin, according to a study.

The survey of almost 4,000 Norwegian 18 to 19-year-olds said boys are three times as likely.

The research backs anecdotes about the toll bad skin inflicts on mental health.
