Rescuers save three men in Galtee mountains

People are being warned of the dangers of mountain hiking after three men had to be rescued in the Galtee mountains yesterday.

They were out walking when a thick fog descended and they got into difficulty.

The group was rescued by the South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association and are now safe and well.

They had been using a GPS to guide them and had forgotten a map.
