PSNI launch murder inquiry after man shot in the head

A murder inquiry has been launched in County Down following the death of a 45-year-old man.

Stefan Zeit lost his fight for life today, after a serious assault in Ardglass on Tuesday.

He received fatal head injuries in the attack that happened between 10.30am and 11am in the morning.

A 23-year-old man was arrested shortly after the assault, and has been released on bail.
