PSNI investigate alleged sexual assault in Belfast

Police in Belfast have launched an investigation into an alleged sexual assault in the south of the city.

A 20-year-old woman was attacked in the Holylands area at around 1.30am this morning.

Her attacker is described as being between 20 and 25 years of age, around six feet tall and with blonde hair.

He was wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact detectives at the Rape Crime Unit in Belfast.
