A man has been charged with a series of terror-related offences linked to dissident republicanism in the North.
The 54-year-old was arrested in County Down on Friday after police uncovered a major haul of firearms.
He is due to appear in court tomorrow.
It follows the British Government's decision in recent days to increase the threat level from Irish republican terrorism.
Basil McCrea - a member of the North's Policing Board - said the seizure underlines the need for vigilance on both sides of the border.
