PSNI arrest man in connection with dissident activity

Police investigating violent dissident republican activity have arrested a man in the North.

The suspect, 49, was detained in Strabane in Co Tyrone, the PSNI said.

A spokesman added: “The man is currently in custody assisting police with their inquiries.”
