Proposal would see tax break for publican who drive customers home

Publicans could be given a tax break for taking their customers home after a night out.

The proposal is one of a number of measures the Government is considering ahead of the Budget.

The Irish Independent reports that another area being explored is formal car insurance cover for groups entering car pooling systems at the weekends.
