Preparations begin to bring Corbett children back to Ireland

Preparations are underway to fly two Irish children home to Ireland after the death of their father Jason Corbett in the US earlier this month.

Jack and Sarah Corbett were the subject of a custody hearing in North Carolina yesterday.

Their stepmother, Molly Martens, was trying to prevent them being handed over to Jason's sister Tracey Lynch and her husband David.

Her case was dismissed yesterday, paving the way for the children to return to Limerick.

Jason Corbett died in a domestic incident earlier this month in North Carolina and police say they are not looking for anyone outside the home in relation to his death.
