Post mortems due on bodies of two missing men found in waters off Galway

Post mortem examinations will take place today on the bodies of two men recovered in Galway over the weekend.

Gardaí say the body of 21-year-old Private Ben Garrett was taken from the water yesterday morning at Galway Docks.

Private Garrett was last seen leaving a nightclub in Galway city in the early hours of March 31.

Separately another man's body was recovered from Galway Bay on Saturday morning during the search for missing Roscommon man Anthony Henehan.

Post mortem examinations on the two bodies will take place at University Hospital Galway later today.
