Post mortem to be carried out man killed in forestry accident

A post mortem is expected to get underway today on the body of a man who died in what appears to have been an accident in a Co Limerick woods yesterday.

The man in his 20s is believed to have been moving a load of timber in Kilmeedy when he became entangled in a machine.

A second man was treated at the scene for shock.

Gardaí at Newcastlewest are investigating the matter.
