Portlaoise hotel goes into receivership

The Portlaoise Heritage Hotel has gone into receivership, it has been confirmed.

Kieran Wallace of KPMG has been appointed as receiver to the four-star hotel.

The venue continues to trade as normal, according to local radio station Midlands 103.

All of the hotel’s 128 full and part-time staff will continue to be employed.

There will be no interruption in trade and all customer bookings and deposits will be honoured.
